Timber Pizza Company – McLean
It all started in 2014 with with a pizza oven, a ’67 Chevy pickup truck, and a deep love of dough. In 2016, the first brick-and mortar was founded in Petworth, D.C. and the name continued its notoriety. Whether you’re running in for takeout or looking for a place to truly connect with people, Timber Pizza Co is the place to be.

We were thrilled to help bring another Timber Pizza location to life. The McLean interior blends authentic rustic charm with warm sophistication, combining salvaged millwork, exposed structural elements, and gleaming copper accents. The result is a welcoming, nostalgic atmosphere—perfect for lingering over wood-fired pizza pies—while delivering an efficient, guest-friendly experience in a compact urban space.
Drawing inspiration from New England summer camps, the design was envisioned to be both warm and familiar. The building, previously home to a café, was structurally sound, giving Hospitality Construction Services the freedom to showcase its craftsmanship. Original features such as aged wood framing and exposed brick were intentionally preserved and sealed.
Working closely with Timber co-owner Andrew Dana (also known for Call Your Mother Deli), the team hand-selected reclaimed wood and vintage millwork from antique shops. Even old workbenches found new life as counters and service stations, reinforcing the space’s authentic design language. The focal point is the wood-fired oven from Maine Wood Heat, topped with a glowing copper crown that commands the room and anchors the entire experience.
